West Midlands Police invests in revolutionary Accident and Insurance reporting portal

West Midlands Police have placed a contract with Tranman to build an accident portal allowing all drivers to report their accidents online, reducing paperwork and administration for police officers and fleet admin staff alike.  A new development allows West Midlands Police’s insurance company to be automatically informed by the software that an accident has occurred.  Brian Hunt, Fleet Manager says “This development will allow accidents to be reported quicker and more accurately than our paper based system, speeding up the whole process and resulting in vehicle downtime being reduced, maximising vehicle availability for front line police duties.”
