Rowsome appointed to take RAC Software into a new era
RAC Software Solutions has appointed Aidan Rowsome as Managing Director, as the company celebrates the both its 21st anniversary and further growth in the business this year.
Aidan joined from asset management software specialists, ADB Systems, and will build on the strong start that RAC Software Solutions has made to 2005. The company has already secured new business deals with, among others, Provident Insurance plc, Mann Island Finance plc and a range of public sector organisations including Northamptonshire Fire Service, North Wales Police and Fife Council.
“RAC Software Solution’s award-winning Tranman fleet software is now 21 years old, during which time it has become the clear market leader,” commented Aidan. “This marks a coming of age for the company – and I’m joining at an exciting time.
“I will focus on the challenge of maintaining our market leadership and enhancing our customer experience in an era where organisations are looking, more than ever, to make their fleets work hard and efficiently for them. As well as the economics, the increasing emphasis placed on both Duty of Care and green issues form the new legal and social environment in which Fleet Managers now work - we will ensure that we continue to support an ever-growing range of clients to help them in their jobs.
