Ipswich Borough Council chooses Servitor housing repairs software

VT Software Solutions has been awarded the contract to provide its housing repair software, Servitor, to Ipswich Borough Council. Working in partnership with the Council’s in-house contractor, Ipswich Borough Contracts.  The organisation is responsible for the delivery of a 24/7 high quality, responsive housing repairs and maintenance service to over 8,500 council homes that are managed by Ipswich Borough Homes.

Servitor will provide both Ipswich Borough Homes and Contracts with an integrated housing repairs and maintenance software solution to support their service objectives that include the management of all housing repairs; and cyclical maintenance, such as gas appliance servicing.  The software will also be used to graphically diagnose repairs, manage appointment scheduling, mobile working; job costing; stores and purchasing, program maintenance.  Servitor Mobile will enable 30 of the mobile work operatives to receive and record work details directly from and to the Servitor main database while on site.

Servitor will provide access for 60 users and valuable management information will be delivered through its Business Objects module.  The software will also interface seamlessly with Ipswich Borough Homes’ existing corporate applications.

It will also enable us to develop our repairs and maintenance business as in the future we can streamline our call taking process, appointment scheduling, and generally improving our service to the customer.
