Tranman voted GreenFleet Awards IT/Communications Product of the year Tranman, the market-leading fleet software from VT Software Solutions, has been voted IT/Communications Product of the Year in the 2006 GreenFleet Awards, which celebrate organisations who develop and promote cleaner vehicle use. Awards were presented in 25 different categories, including Car, LCV and HGV Manufacturer of the Year, Fuel Supplier of the Year, Fleet Managers of the Year, Public and Private Sector Fleets of the Year, IT and Lifetime Achievement. All were judged by an independent panel of industry experts. VT Software Solutions’ Sales & Marketing Director, Ian Searle, collected the award for IT/Communications Product of the Year from Channel FIVE’s Tiff Needell at a ceremony at Arsenal FC’s Emirates Stadium, hosted by the London Borough of Islington and supported by Transport for London. “To receive this award is a tremendous recognition of the dedicated team we have here at VT Software, who work so hard to make our software the best in the business” says Ian Searle. Two VT Software Solutions customers also took GreenFleet awards at the event. The supermarket chain Morrisons was voted Alternative Fuel Supplier of the Year, while Lothian & Borders Police took the Risk management award. The Tranman brand is well known and highly respected among fleet operators. The software is widely used in local authorities, Ministry of Defence, emergency services, utilities, and large private sector multi-site organisations.
